About Russell Daley - Founder | Director

Dayna’s Place was founded by Russell Daley in 2024. Russell began his career in 2006 and has worked in private practice since 2011. He became a speech pathologist because he stuttered when a child.  

Russell has operated his other speech therapy practice, Queensland Speech Pathology Services, since 2011. In 2024 he established Dayna’s Place with the vision of creating an online speech therapy resource website that can help children and adults across the world communicate better.  Since working for himself in private practice, Russell has created an incredibly diverse and enormous library of resources for any individual, their needs, interests, and condition. Dayna’s Place is the name given for this library of resources.  The name Dayna’s Place was inspired by one of his clients with whom Russell worked with extensively via telehealth / video over many years. Dayna’s needs required Russell to think outside the box and provide something unique and individual that engaged her in learning via video.

Individuals can also access face to face and telehealth speech pathology services through Dayna's Place as well. 

Russell has worked extensively with children and adults across his career. He has extensive experience working with children and adults who have the following conditions:

• Autism
• Down Syndrome and other chromosomal conditions
• Cerebral Palsy and physical disabilities
• Hearing impairment
• Late talkers
• Stuttering
• Speech sound production and articulation
• Literacy development and phonological awareness
• Stroke and acquired brain injury
• Degenerative conditions such as Parkinson’s and Motor Neurone Disease.
